Hospital & University District

Sioux Falls has six colleges and universities located in the metro area alone. In addition, we are home to two of the largest rural health care systems in America. The Hospital & University District is home to these places of learning and healing, plus lots of historic sites, shopping, the Great Plains Zoo, Midco® Aquatic Center and city parks, to name a few.

Traveler's Tip: The Hospital & University District covers a lot of ground in town, and the best way to tour is by car or city transit.
