1. Falls Park

As the namesake of our city, Falls Park certainly holds its own when it comes to top attractions in the Midwest. The park is covered in Pink Sioux Quartzite which is carved out by the rushing water of the Big Sioux River. See the triple cascading waterfall from up close, or get a breathtaking view of the park and the downtown landscape from the top of the five-story observation tower. There is even an on-site restaurant, Falls Overlook Café, making it the perfect place to stop for groups.

2. Sioux Quartzite

The pink rock that you see at Falls Park can be found all throughout the city, particularly downtown. Sioux quartzite has been used in the many historic buildings that line the street. One of the iconic buildings in downtown Sioux Falls, the Old Courthouse Museum, even carved out their basement from the rock under the surface.

3. Good Earth State Park

Good Earth State Park at Blood Run is South Dakota's newest state park. This expansive land features rolling hills and an array of hiking trails perfect for your group tour.
